Key Club International is the oldest, largest, and most successful non-profit student-led organization for high school students. We teach and spread our core values through community service: caring, character-building, inclusiveness, and leadership which were adopted by our Key Club International Board in 2002. Members of Key Club, a part of the community-service based Kiwanis International Family, develop themselves into young leaders as they positively impact their schools and communities. Key Club members receive guidance and support from adult volunteers, including Kiwanis advisors, faculty advisors and district administrators.
MISSION STATEMENT
Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership.
VISION
We are caring and competent servant leaders transforming the communities worldwide.
CORE VALUES
The core values of Key Club International are leadership, character building, caring, and inclusiveness.
PLEDGE
"I pledge on my honor to uphold the objects of Key Club International; to build my home, school, and community; to serve my nation and world; and to combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions."

PROJECTS & PROGRAMS
ELIMINATE
The Eliminate Project is one of our international projects. It strives to eliminate maternal neonatal tetanus, MNT for short, from the world. We need a total of $100 million to do so, and so far we have raised $104 million.
PEDIATRIC TRAUMA PROGRAM
Pediatric Trauma is the #1 killer of children in the United States and this organization helps those children in need who are hurt and killed by trauma.
PREFERRED CHARITIES
Our preferred charities are Children's Miracle's Network, Erika's Lighthouse, and March of Dimes.
CNH District is made up of 45,500+ members throughout California, Nevada, and Hawaii, including 770+ clubs, 80 divisions, and 18 regions. The first five clubs officially chartered by Key Club International were at Sacramento, Monterey, Oakland Technical, Hemet, and Stockton (now Edison) High Schools. Key Club grew beyond the place of its birth, and a few clubs already existed in Nevada. In 1947, it was decided that a district should be formed.
Region 17 is made up of 7 divisions in California: D12E, D12S, D12W, D34N, D34S (us!), and D43.
Division 34 South consists of clubs in our immediate area: San Jose, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Palo Alto, Los Altos, and Mountain View. Our division mascot is a Purple Penguin and our main colors are purple and white.
Mountain View Key Club has a legacy of being involved in our division and beyond: both Sriya Pillutla (current LTG) and Madeline Cheng (21-22 LTG) were from Mountain View, and past MV Key Club officers have been part of district teams as well. In the past, we've won president and vice president of the year from CNH.
